The school
Inhispania – Banco de España is located in a prestigious zone in the very centre of Madrid, just metres from the headquarters of the Instituto de Cervantes. It is also opposite the famous Casa de las Siete Chimeneas (House of the Seven Chimneys) from the 16th Century which is now occupied by the Ministery of Culture.
We have chosen a special location in a fashionable and central area that offers a wide selection of restaurants, cafés, designer shops, art galleries and cultural sights.
Inhispania – Banco de España features modern classrooms equipped with a WIFI connection, LCD screens with audiovisual players and air conditioning.In the interior design of the school we have concentrated on creating a light environment with the sensation of wellbeing. We have done this through large glass walls, high ceilings and translucent spaces.
The result is a modern and sophisticated school. The classrooms also offer views of a baroque patio that belongs to the neighbouring San José church: a true haven of tranquility in 21st Century Madrid.
The school has areas for both reception and administration, there is also a student lounge with computers and an area for the teachers. The classrooms can be used for personal study after class.
Inhispania – Banco de España should be considered as an annex to the main school of Inhispania – Puerta del Sol, where the library, central administration services and the management of both the school as a whole and of the courses are located. Inhispania – Puerta del Sol is recognised as an accredited centre of the Instituto Cervantes.
